Optical HD Video Transport System based on one fibre

PhotonX is a transport system for High Definition video signals, based on one fibre optic connection. The transport system is transparent for EDID data as well as HDCP decoding. Color depth reaches up to 16 bit per color. The technology behind is a bidirectional 6 channel WDM, where one channel is responsible for EDID return. The system is composed of a HDRX (Receiver) unit and a HDTX (Transitter) unit where latter is used to configure the EDID handling. Maximum resolution for HDMI is 2560x1600 and the maximum resolution for DVI is 1920x1200 at 60Hz. PhotonX does HDMI 1.3, what means that Audio will be transported as well. Following audio standards are complient; Dolby Digital, DTS, 8 channel PCM, DVD-Audio, SACD and MPEG, Dolby Digital Plus, TureHD and dts-HD.
